An early, deep red skinned globe to semi globe-shaped onion with superb flavour whether cooked or eaten raw. Stores well in cool, dry conditions. Their low rate of metabolism allows for a relatively long postharvest life. Thanks to their high water content, they are key ingredients for a low fat diet.
